Time tracking & HR
AIDA Integration
with Linetrack

In short
An AIDA integration automatically feeds staff absences such as vacation, sick leave and parental leave from AIDA (AIDA ORGA) into Linetrack's capacity planning, optionally logged actual hours too. The connection runs as a live sync and is already built. Of Linetrack customers with such a live connection, every single one imports staff absences from time tracking or HR.
Data exchange
What is exchanged between AIDA and Linetrack
AIDA (AIDA ORGA) is one of the time-tracking and HR connections running in live use with Linetrack today. At Schnaithmann Maschinenbau staff absences flow from time tracking straight into the capacity planning.
The full list of every connected system is on the interfaces overview.
Challenge
Why capacity planning is wrong without an AIDA connection
Vacation, sick leave, parental leave and part-time models are managed in AIDA, not in the project system. Without a connection, project managers plan against capacity that does not exist on that day - the overload only becomes visible once dates are already at risk.
Reliable scheduling and capacity planningtherefore only works with the real availability that AIDA feeds into the plan.
The same principle applies to master data from the ERP system - see the ERP integrationpage for details.
If the optional actual-hours import is used as well, it automatically produces a planned-vs-actual comparisonwithout double-entering hours.
