Assign the license

your administrator

In user management, every employee who is to use the assistant gets the “AI Assistant” license — just like any other permission in Linetrack.

Connect the assistant

each employee, once

Add Linetrack in your own assistant and sign in with the usual Linetrack login — including Microsoft sign-in where you use it.

Ask questions

from that moment on

In chat, in your own words. No commands, no syntax, no training.

What it looks like

One question. The answer from your real data.

No dashboard that has to be learned first. The assistant knows your projects, your deadlines and your workload — and works with the same numbers the Linetrack dashboard shows.

Head of sales

Can we still fit in an order of roughly 800 engineering hours starting in September?

L-ai-ntrack

The engineering group has the following capacity free from September onwards:

MonthFree
September 2026+120 h
October 2026+40 h
November 2026+310 h
December 2026+400 h

That is 870 free hours against the 800 requested. October is almost fully booked, so the order would have to be spread across the rest of the year.

Basis: net capacity against planned project load, by month. Not a delivery commitment — qualifications and dependencies are not checked here.

Why this is different

Answers with your permissions, not with a master key.

01

Everyone sees only their own

The assistant answers with exactly the data the employee asking is allowed to see in Linetrack. No shared accounts, no company-wide keys, no reporting across other people's projects.

02

The same numbers as the dashboard

Status, workload, capacity: the assistant does not calculate on its own, it reads the same values your reports display. Two sources cannot drift apart.

03

Forecasts that identify themselves as forecasts

Every projection comes with the basis it was calculated from. The assistant cannot pass an estimate off as a commitment, because the caveat is part of the answer.

04

Your permissions still apply

Whatever holds today for roles, portfolios and licenses holds unchanged in chat — including once making changes is added in the next step.

What your team asks

Answers to the questions someone would otherwise open a dashboard for.

For project management and executives

included in the “AI Assistant” license

QuestionAnswer
“What is critical today?”Every overdue task and everything due today, most urgent first, with the number of days overdue.
“Which deadlines are pressing in the coming weeks?”The upcoming due dates in the time frame you ask for, in chronological order.
“How are my projects doing right now?”Status per running project, worst first, with maturity level and open tasks.
“When does it get tight for me?”How your open tasks are distributed across the coming weeks — before that week arrives.
“When will the Müller project realistically be finished?”A projection from progress and elapsed time, stating what it is based on.

For sales and resource planning

additionally requires the analytics license

QuestionAnswer
“Are we already overbooked in the third quarter?”Capacity against planned load per resource group and month — and where it tips over.
“Where do we still have room to sell?”The same calculation from the other side: which groups still have room in which months.
“Does an order of 800 hours from September fit?”The group's free capacity next to the number of hours requested — right there in the conversation with the prospect.

Your assistant, not ours

Works where your team already works.

You do not need a new AI provider and you do not need another contract. Linetrack connects to the assistant you already have in use.

Claude

Connected directly

Add Linetrack as a connector, sign in, done. In Team and Enterprise environments your administrator approves the connection once.

ChatGPT

Connected directly

Add Linetrack as a connector and sign in with your own account. Authentication runs through the secure standard procedure, not through shared keys.

Microsoft Copilot

In the usual Copilot chat

Your administrator makes Linetrack available to the tenant once. After that your employees ask directly in Copilot, without picking an agent first.

The roadmap

Answers today. Actions next.

We deliberately started with reading: the assistant has to answer with your numbers reliably and within your permissions before it may change them.

Available

Asking and analysing

Everything that is a matter of information, for every employee within their own permissions:

  • Critical and upcoming tasks
  • Project status and maturity level
  • Your own workload over the coming weeks
  • Completion forecast per project
  • Company-wide capacity and free hours

In preparation

Making changes in chat

The next step: turn the answer straight into the action, instead of switching to the dashboard for it.

  • Checking off tasks
  • Moving deadlines
  • Reporting progress
  • Adding comments

With the same permissions, of course — and with a confirmation prompt before anything is actually changed.

Security

Built for IT departments that ask questions.

The questions that come up in a security review — and the answers you can pass on.

Personal sign-in instead of a shared account

Every employee signs in themselves. There is no account through which an assistant reads on behalf of the whole company.

Revoking takes effect immediately

License revoked or employee deactivated: access ends within minutes, without anyone having to revoke anything else.

Tenant separation without a special path

The assistant uses the same permission checks as the web interface. There is no second implementation that could diverge.

Changes remain traceable

Whatever is triggered in chat lands in the same change history as an entry in the interface — with the employee as its author.

Operated in Germany

Linetrack runs on its own infrastructure at a German data centre operator.

Only the data asked for

The only thing that reaches the AI provider is the answer to a specific question — no extract of your data, no background synchronisation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Still have questions?

Book a slot with our team.

Can the assistant change things as well?

Today it answers questions. Write access — checking off tasks, moving deadlines, reporting progress — is the next step and is in preparation.

Does every employee need a license?

Yes, per user, as with other add-on features. Your administrator assigns and revokes it themselves — so you can start small and expand once it proves its worth.

Will my sales team see every project?

Only if they are allowed to see it in Linetrack. The company-wide capacity questions additionally require the analytics license — it is the same visibility decision as for the dashboard, not a new one.

What happens when an employee leaves the company?

Deactivating them ends their assistant access too, with nothing further to do. There is no permanent key that could be overlooked.

Which data leaves our system?

Only the answer to the question that was asked — and only within what the employee asking is allowed to see anyway. Your data is not transferred to the AI provider.

Can we rely on the forecasts?

As orientation yes, as a commitment no — and the assistant says so itself. Every projection states its basis and its limits, so that an estimate does not turn into a promise in a customer conversation.

Do we have to change our processes?

No. L-ai-ntrack reads your existing planning. Anyone who keeps working in the dashboard keeps working in the dashboard — the assistant is an additional route to the same information.

What if we switch providers?

Linetrack is not tied to any AI provider. The connection follows an open standard — move from one assistant to another and the integration stays the same.
